Your spiritual journey begins in Indore, the largest city of Madhya Pradesh, well connected by flights and trains. After arrival, proceed to Ujjain (65 km / 1.5 hrs). Travel tips: Many temples restrict leather items—avoid carrying them. Photography is prohibited in certain areas; follow guidelines. Prefer sandals over shoes, as footwear must be removed at temples.
Start your day with a visit to Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, one of the most revered Jyotirlingas in India. Post darshan, explore other spiritual landmarks in Ujjain: Major Attractions: Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, Gopal Mandi, Harsiddhi Mandir, Sandipani Ashram, Bade Ganesh Ji Temple, Chousat Yogini Temple, Ram Ghat (on the banks of the Kshipra River).
