Train from Howrah/Sealdah to NJP
Meet and greet after which the journey commences.
Lachen (9,400ft, 124kms from Gangtok) Duration: Depends on the condition of roads and the weather Description of the Trip: Early morning ride to Lachen from Gangtok. While the journey visits other tourist attractions like Twin Waterfalls, Seven Sisters Waterfall, Singhik Viewpoint and others. Lunch at a local restaurant on the way to the destination. Check in at the hotel during late afternoon.

Early morning ride to Thangu (13,500ft, 31kms from Lachen). Visit Chopta Valley (13,200ft) which is very rich in alpine vegetation. Drive towards Gurudongmar Lake (17,800ft) (applicable only for Indian Nationality people). Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest situated lakes in North Sikkim. Remember the altitude here may cause breathing problems. After the trip, return back to the hotel & leave for Lachung (8,610ft, 60kms from Lachen). After reaching Lachung check in a hotel. overnight stay at Lachung.

Early morning drive to Yumthang Valley, which is an Alpine flower valley in North Sikkim. Enjoy the scenic landscape and Hot Spring and drive back to Lachung for Lunch. (Optional tour to Yumesamdong Valley or Zero Point close to Tibet Border (15,000ft, 23kms from Yumthang) for Indian tourists only (at extra cost 3500/- per vehicle on prior notice)). After lunch, back to Gangtok.

Tsomgo Lake (12,400ft) and 34kms from Gangtok Duration: Depends on the weather but normally 3hrs. After a hearty breakfast starts the tour to Tsomgo Lake (12,400ft, 34km). The lake is 1 km long, oval in shape and 50ft deep. Here you can witness snow, snowfall (if you’re lucky) & Yak Riding. Visit to the legendary Baba Mandir. Optional tour to Nathula Pass (The Indo-China border) depends upon the availability of permit which costs an additional of Rs.3000-4000 per vehicle (Monday and Tuesday the pass is closed).
